Old, filthy communist hotel. Everything is dirty, old and worn out. Old greyhaired woman in reception who is very unfriendly. Terrible breakfast. Better to sleep on a bench in the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second time staying here. It’s in a great location and the rooms are nice and clean. The only complaint is that there is often only one toilet and shower for 10-12 people, which can be difficult to coordinate. Overall, great place though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would definitely stay at the Meran again! I had a single room so it was small but clean and very quiet. Martin and Alena at the front desk were most helpful and the breakfast was nice. I also like the fact the it is a small hotel with 20 rooms and each floor had it's own wifi...i.e. if I logged in on the 1st floor and once I left I needed to log in again in the breakfast room. Just seemed safer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A alright historical Hotel at Wenceslas square to stay for a night or 2. Room size is quite good depends on what you have booked. Provided everything except tea or coffee in the room as other hotels provide. Hotel has great history. It was captured by Nazis in World War, later by the govt. But still it survived somehow and still standing. Reception is helpful. George the Old man is really friendly and helpful. He can guide you very well. Hotel is near to old town 5-10 min walk. 1 min walk for Metro/tram. Direct connection with Airport. 10-15 min to Central Train Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk, take the metro or the tram to anyplace from here.
Rooms were big and very clean.
All the stuff was very helpful with tips and suggestions.
Breakfast was excellent. My best part were the sausages.
