Definitely not in Kansas anymore. This hotel was great! The staff was friendly and were accommodating. The hotel has a very ornate feel, and is decorated as such. Our room was large with a small foyer and a very spacious bathroom. Our windows were stained glass and we had a fireplace (not sure if it was working or not, we didn't try it). Location of the hotel is great for tourism although be prepared to walk. It's more than halfway up the hill to Prague Castle which makes it nice that almost everything you are going to see is downhill to start off with. We also found if you take the #22 street car to the castle stop it can be a nice walk downhill back to the hotel, but enough about my laziness. There are a few convenience stores not too far away as well as restaurants and such (beware of some of the touristy restaurants and their scams). It was very reasonably priced (as is the Czech Republic as whole with the great USD-CKR exchange rate). An equivalent priced hotel in the US would be a cheap motel. Our only gripe was the hotel restaurant was not open all of the hours that were posted. We always got breakfast without an issue, but never seem to be there in time for dinner. Not really an issue though. If plane tickets were more reasonable I would visit often.

The Hotel is nice and clean. All employees are really helpful. Style of an old "castle" is visible in all rooms. Only little things to complain, but nothing worst. The Hotel is really near the prague castle, but still calm. Breakfast is average, nothing special.

Small hotel with classic rooms. The rooms are classic old style design...very romantische atmosphäre. Good service and fine breakfast. There is no parking reserved to guests so if you arrive by car, finding parking might be a problem. Money change can be done at the hotel next door. Recommended for couples.

The hotel was ok. The rooms were looking nice but the matrasses were old and way too soft. Also the shower had some mold. After complaining about the room we got a other room. This room was better but had a sewer smell." It's antique what u smell" We had to spray perfume to get rid of the scent. They did their best to solve the problem. The breakfast wasn't much of quality. This hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel but I would give it 2 stars.

Don't get me wrong - this hotel is nice: great lobby, friendly staff, nice rooms. But I was here in July-August 2018 when it was so hot in the city and the hotel has no AC in their rooms and the humidity inside is so high that you become wet as soon as you enter. They do provide fan but it doesn't do much. I stayed here for one night only and then moved to another hotel. I had bad sleep because of the heat. They provide breakfast but I didn't try it so I cannot tell if it is good or bad. I attach photos of my room (room 305) and the hotel itself

Terrible experience in total honesty. We were obliged to stay there for one night. Even though it's a heritage building and nicely located, the place is cheaply renovated. General facilities & rooms look shabby, dark, humid with very cheap fittings, and old furniture. Bed was noisy and underneath was dirty. We also found a cockroach crawling on the floor. Staff has a common (cold & careless attitude) they never make you feel welcome. This is an objective critique. None of the above has been said in bad faith nor exaggerated

Impeccably clean, historic old building with modern amenities. The staff here are beautiful, kind friendly people especially the young guy at the front desk. Nothing is too much trouble. The suite was grand and thoughtfully appointed and had a gas fireplace. Breakfast was tasty and fresh with a great selection but unfortunately they were out of eggs the day we had breakfast on the first day but the second day they had crispy bacon and eggs. It is a hilly stroll to town but a beautiful area to stay in. Might be challenging if you're not physically fit. It's near to the Prague Castle.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect - every main attraction was 10-20 mins walk away but it didn't feel that long! The hotel was was authentic and beautiful, I've included a picture of the stained glass window in the room! The bathroom was huge, room was huge and there was a mini sort of living room! Staff were friendly and happy to help! I'd definitely recommend this as a place to stay. There is a steep hill on the walk back from Charles Bridge/ Astronomical clock so bare this in mind if booking for someone who struggles with hills!
