★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just outside of the Rudolfinum is a park or riverbank, with a beautiful view of Prague Castle from the Vltava. The park is located at the foot of the Mánesův most, or Mánes Bridge. It’s actually quite nice to grab a sandwich and sit by the bench and enjoy the view of the river from here. From the riverbank, the Castle District looks imposing and project such stature. Prague Castle stands tall in the distance, literally stretching across my shot.
Not as famous nor crowded as Charles Bridge, the Mánes Bridge is a bridge over the Vltava in Prague, north of Charles Bridge. If you take the tram, this will be on of the bridge it crosses over and it offers the view of Charles Bridge from up the river. The bridge is named after Josef Mánes, the celebrated Czech painter who painted the face of the Astronomical Clock in Old Town.
