★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kandelábr è uno dei sedici lampioni a gas in ghisa a otto bracci per l'illuminazione stradale installati a Praga negli anni '60 ed uno dei due ancora funzionanti , con una moderna tecnologia di illuminazione a gas predisposta nel 2005 ; quattro figure femminili posizionate su un piedistallo in granito sorreggono otto bracci con lanterne ed una colonna con all'estremità una figura allegorica ; la struttura è alta 8,5 metri e pesa quasi 5 tonnellate .
Kandelábr is one of the sixteen eight-arm cast iron gas lamps for street lighting installed in Prague in the 1960s and one of the two still functioning, with modern gas lighting technology set up in 2005; four female figures positioned on a granite pedestal support eight arms with lanterns and a column with an allegorical figure at the end; the structure is 8.5 meters high and weighs almost 5 tons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Když se jeden podívá co lidi se na té kráse podílelo tak musí smeknout. Nejsou to jen čáry z plechu nebo kus tanku který se vydává za krásu. To s krásou se nedá vůbec přirovnat. Prostě kandelábr osvětlení je opravdu kus historie a krásné. Stačí se jen pozorně koukat.
When one looks at what people have contributed to that beauty, they have to take a break. It's not just sheet metal lines or a piece of tank that pretends to be beauty. That cannot be compared at all to beauty. Simply lamppost lighting is really a piece of history and beautiful. Just look carefully.
