★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jedna z mála památek v Sokolově. Na náměstí byla tato kamenná kašna instalována v roce 1717, ale pravděpodobně je staršího původu. Socha sokolníka má vročení 1674 a také bazén kašny je podobný zámecké kašně s tritóny, která je z let 1672 – 1673. Kašna má osmiboký bazén zdobený psaníčky, sloup s mušlí a sochou sokolníka. Sokolník se psem u nohou a sokolem na ruce je podle pověsti zakladatelem města. Byl to chebský měšťan, který údajně založil Sokolí dvůr, z něhož povstal Sokolov. Podle jiné pověsti byl zakladatelem města rytíř Sebastián, který se zde usadil po návratu z křížové výpravy. Kašna připomíná chmelařskou tradici na Sokolovsku – kolem dříku sloupu se pnou chmelové ratolesti.
One of the few sights in Sokolov. In the square, this stone fountain was installed in 1717, but is probably of older origin. The statue of a falconer dates back to 1674 and the pool of the fountain is similar to the castle fountain with tritons, which dates from 1672 - 1673. The fountain has an octagonal pool decorated with postcards, a pillar with a seashell and a sculpture of a falconer. The falconer with a dog at his feet and a falcon on his hand is, according to legend, the founder of the city. He was a Cheb citizen who allegedly founded the Sokolí dvůr, from which Sokolov rose. According to another legend, the founder of the city was Knight Sebastian, who settled here after returning from the Crusade. The fountain is reminiscent of the hop-growing tradition in the Sokolov region - hop branches sprinkle around the pole shaft.

Tato kamenná kašna byla instalována v roce 1717, ale pravděpodobně je staršího původu.
