Jakuba Většího v roce 1898 a měla připomínat 50. výročí nastoupení Františka Josefa I. na trůn – odtud název Jubilejní. V 50. letech 20. století byla kašna demontována a opětovně byla instalována a předána 27. 10. 1998 při příležitosti 80. výročí vyhlášení ČSR. One of the few sights in Sokolov. The fountain was built in the Old Town Square in Sokolov in front of the Church of Sts. James the Greater in 1898 and was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the accession of Franz Joseph to the throne - hence the name Jubilee. In the 1950s, the fountain was dismantled and re-installed and handed over on October 27, 1998, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the declaration of Czechoslovakia.

Někdy se kašna nazývá Schramovou podle rodiny Schramů, která se na výstavbě kašny finančně podílela. August a Adolf (bratři) Schramovi byli vlastníci velkých chemických továren a patrioty svého rodného města Sokolova. Kašna byla postavena na Starém náměstí před kostelem sv. Jakuba Většího. V 50. letech byla kašna demontována a uložena v areálu Technických služeb, částečně pak v muzeu. Opětovně byla instalována na náměstí na podzim roku 1998. Veřejnosti byla slavnostně předána 27. října 1998 při příležitosti 80. výročí vyhlášení ČSR. Výtvarné řešení kašny pochází z dílny berlínského sochaře von Uechtritz. Od roku 2006 je na seznamu kulturních památek České republiky. It was installed on the square in December 1898 and was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the accession of Francis Joseph I to the throne - hence the name Jubilee. Sometimes the fountain is called Schram's after the Schram family, who contributed financially to the construction of the fountain. August and Adolf (brothers) Schram were the owners of large chemical factories and patriots of their hometown of Sokolov. The fountain was built on the Old Square in front of the Church of St. James the Greater. In the 1950s, the fountain was dismantled and stored in the Technical Services complex, partly in the museum. It was re-installed on the square in the autumn of 1998. It was ceremoniously handed over to the public on October 27, 1998 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of Czechoslovakia. The design of the fountain comes from the workshop of the Berlin sculptor von Uechtritz. Since 2006, it has been on the list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic.
