★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jedná z mála historických památek v Sokolově. Byl postaven v roce 1701. Sloup stojí uprostřed Starého náměstí. Má čtvercovou základnu s vystouplými nárožími, na nichž jsou umístěny sochy světců s jejich typickými atributy, tj. sv. Jakuba Většího – patrona městského kostela (s biblí), sv. Antonína Paduánského – patrona klášterního kostela (s Ježíškem), sv. Floriána – ochránce před ohněm (s vědrem s vodou hasící dům v plamenech) a sv. Jana Nepomuckého (s krucifixem). Na základně je umístěn čtyřboký sokl, nesoucí vlastní sloup. Na soklu jsou střídavě zobrazeny reliéfy s okřídlenými hlavičkami andělů a rostlinnými motivy s granátovými jablky. Sloup samotný má hladký povrch a je zakončen korintskou hlavicí. Na jeho vrcholu je umístěna socha Panny Marie Immaculaty (Neposkvrněné). Mariánský sloup byl v letech 1995 – 1996 restaurován studenty Akademie výtvarných umění v Praze.
It is one of the few historical monuments in Sokolov. It was built in 1701. The column stands in the middle of the Old Square. It has a square base with protruding corners, on which statues of saints are placed with their typical attributes, ie St. James the Greater - patron of the city church (with the Bible), st. Antonín Paduánský - patron saint of the monastery church (with Jesus), st. Florian - protector from fire (with water bucket extinguishing house in flames) and st. John of Nepomuk (with crucifix). On the base there is a quadrilateral plinth bearing its own pillar. Reliefs with winged headings of angels and plant motifs with pomegranates are alternately displayed on the plinth. The column itself has a smooth surface and ends with the Corinthian warhead. At its top is the statue of the Virgin Mary of Immaculate (Immaculate). The Marian Column was restored between 1995 and 1996 by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mariánský sloup je pozdněbarokní památka tvořená sloupem se sochou Panny Marie Immaculaty stojící na podstavci se sochami apoštola Jakuba většího, svatého Antonína Paduánského, svatého Jana Nepomuckého a svatého Floriána. Dílo pochází z let 1699–1701 z dílny chebského kameníka Viléma Felsnera. Při zimní bouři rozbitý originál Immaculaty byl nahrazen novou plastikou.
The Marian Column is a late Baroque monument consisting of a column with a statue of the Virgin Mary Immaculate standing on a pedestal with statues of the Apostle James the Greater, St. Anthony of Padua, St. John of Nepomuk and St. Florian. The work comes from the years 1699–1701 from the workshop of the Cheb stonemason Vilém Felsner. During the winter storm, the broken original Immaculate was replaced by a new sculpture.
