★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádherný kostelík sv. Alžběty stojí na ostrohu nad říčkou Brslenkou, původně jde o renesanční stavbu postavenou po roce 1553. V letech 1718-1728 byl barokně přestaven. Vedle stojí samostatně zvonice. Moc hezký pohled nejen na kostelík je z hradiště Hrádek.
St. Elizabeth stands on a headland above the river Brslenka, originally a Renaissance building built after 1553. In 1718-1728 it was rebuilt in Baroque style. The bell tower stands beside it. Very nice view not only of the church is from Hradek hillfort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poté co roku 1522 vyhořely oba čáslavské špitály poblíž minoritského kláštera, rozhodla roku 1553 městská rada o přenesení špitálů na předměstí. Původně renesanční kostel sv. Alžběty byl vystavěn krátce poté. Barokně přestavěn byl v letech 1718–1728. Velká novorománská přestavba proběhla v letech 1876-9. Při poslední přestavbě v roce 1935 byl rebarokizován. Jde o jednoduchou jednolodní stavbu s pravoúhlým presbytářem s apsidou. Na hlavním oltáři je umístěno barokní sousoší sv. Alžběty s žebrákem u jejích nohou. Kazatelna pochází z poloviny 18. století.
After both Čáslav hospitals near the Minorite monastery burned down in 1522, the town council decided to transfer the hospitals to the suburbs in 1553. Originally a renaissance church of St. Elizabeth was built shortly afterwards. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the years 1718–1728. A large neo-Romanesque reconstruction took place in 1876-9. During the last reconstruction in 1935, it was rebarokized. It is a simple single-nave building with a rectangular presbytery with an apse. On the main altar is a baroque sculpture of St. Elizabeth with a beggar at her feet. The pulpit dates from the mid-18th century.
