Furniture was broken or had strong traces of use and should be renovated; also basic cleaning and fresh paint is needed everywhere. Completely inappropriate: they offer wines from discounters (Lidl: Barbera d’Asti Superiore 2014 = 5€) for horrendous prices. A place like this shouldn’t offer wines from discounters at all. Sorry: this is a no-go!!!

S	Stefano Picco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place and huge too. The owners are very friendly and the rooms are huge with each their own style. The breakfast was also good therefore nothing to complain about. If you want to retreat for a bit and just relax, then this is the right place to go.
J	Juan Huitz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a unique and unexpected experience in these parts. My family rented the place for an afternoon to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday and it was great. It’s a historic building of course, but the inside is an art gallery of sorts. There’s a large fire place to relax by and the food was very good. If you are relatively close by, have an event and want a unique experience, this is for you. There’s a nice garden too but we were here in December and didn’t linger there long. But I saw it in the summer one year and well worth a stroll.

It is now already some months ago, but I still have to say - words can‘t describe the experience we had. Just awesome! Worth to stay there more than one night, just to explore the art installations! Both owners were great hosts and of course enjoyed the dinner in the evening. Being at the castle and surroundings feels like being somewhere in the Tuscan and can be described as one micro-cosmos for itself! We will surely come back one day! :)

Very friendly owners and staff, beautiful design, an eclectic mix of history and contemporary art, delicious local fresh food. And a cute golden dog ?Relaxing atmosphere, great both for workation and chilling. A dream come true. Hopefully see you again soon!
