Church of St. Wenceslas Square in Žihli was built in 1730. The ground plan is in the shape of a cross, the interior is decorated with rich painting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dominante im Ortskern von Žihle (Scheles) ist die Kirche St. Wenzel (kostel sv. Václava). Der aus dem Jahr 1730 stammende Barockbau hat die Form eines Kreuzes. Im Inneren ist er mit reichen Gemälden verziert. Leider sieht das Umfeld alles andere als einladend aus.
Dominant in the center of Žihle (Scheles) is the church of St. Wenceslas (kostel sv. Václava). The Baroque building, dating back to 1730, has the shape of a cross. Inside it is decorated with rich paintings. Unfortunately, the environment looks anything but inviting.
