The Orthodox Church does not have many believers in Beroun. It is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction

The cultural monument of the Czech Republic, now used for the services of the Czech Orthodox Church, was built in 1525 as a church near the new cemetery in the former meadow of Anna Příbramská. The cemetery was founded during the Great Plague five years earlier. In 1566, a wooden bell tower was added to the church (demolished in 1813). During the Thirty Years' War, it was severely damaged and rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1738-1744. It was further repaired in the 19th century and subsequently in the 1970s. It is a single-nave rectangular building with sloping corners and a narrowed, triangular closed presbytery. The cemetery was closed in 1904 and in 1963 it was transformed into a park. The Church of the Annunciation was built in 1525, and in 1566 a wooden belfry was added to the church. In 1744 it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. At the end of the 19th century the church was rebuilt to its present form and a tower was added.

The church recently received a new roofing, I hope that it will continue in its further reconstruction when it will be finished again, the decoration of Beroun then deserves 5 ☆ and the space of the former cemetery in a functioning park would also deserve an adjustment.
