Dvě původní francisovy turbíny (1908) byly v roce 2016 doplněny o 2 vírové turbíny (český vynález). Nice functional technical monument. Possibility to arrange a tour. To nejzajímavější a pro romantické duše je ale za vodárnou, po turistické. Zbytky starého náhonu, cesta po bývalé hrází pod staletími velikány. Nádhera. L	Ladislav Škorňa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malá vodní elektrárna leží v nádherném kaňonu řeky Ohře. Dnes jsme opět k prohlídce využily den otevřených dveří pořádaný k výročí jejího spuštění. Z Želinského jezu je sem voda vedena několik set metrů dlouhým betonovým náhonem. Dvě původní Francisovy turbíny z let 1908 byly před pár lety vybavené novými převodovkami s generátory 2x450kW. MVE je přes transformátor 0,4/22kV napojena na rozhodnou síť v Kadani. Nádherná stavba. Doporučuji navštívit. The small hydroelectric power station is located in the beautiful Ohře River Canyon. Today we again used the open day organized for the anniversary of its launch. From the Želinský weir, water is passed through several hundred meters long concrete drive. Two original Francis turbines from 1908 were equipped a few years ago with new gearboxes with generators 2x450kW. MVE is connected to a decisive network in Kadaň through a 0.4 / 22kV transformer. Beautiful building. I recommend to visit.
J	Jan Běla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Návštěva tohoto místa je úchvatná. Vidět co dokázali kdysi architekti a projektanti je dnes nemyslitelné. Už jen prokopat 160 metrový tunel skrz skálu pro přítok vody do elektrárny je obdivuhodné. Parádní je i okolí Ohře se skálami končící pod hladinou řeky, které bohužel hyzdí rybáři se svými cajky. Docela mě i láká možnost vyjednat si exkurzi do nitra stále fungující malé elektrárny. Kouzelné místo, které doporučuji navštívit. Visiting this place is breathtaking. To see what architects and designers once did is unthinkable today. Just dig a 160-meter tunnel through the rock for water to the plant is admirable. Great is also the surroundings of the Ohře with rocks ending under the surface of the river, which unfortunately is annoyed by fishermen with their tackles. I am also attracted by the possibility to arrange an excursion inside a still functioning small power plant. Wonderful place that I recommend to visit.
