The column is simple, unadorned, at the top stands the Virgin Mary, at the bottom stands St. Jan Nepomucký and St. Vaclav. It dates from 1716.

Až pojedete Litomyšlí tak odbočte z hlavní silnice a náměstím se potěšte. Overall, I have nothing to evaluate on the Marian Column. It is just as our ancestors have built it. But I certainly commend the beautifully maintained arcade square. So when you go to Litomyšl, turn off the main road and enjoy the square.

Do not evaluate the column, but the arcade square, which is very nice, unfortunately I do not understand the meaning of why through the city center leads "traffic" it definitely reminds and even more to mark it as a residential zone ?!

Označení Morový sloup nemám rád, protože ne vždy šlo o dík za přežití nějakého postižení ( ale často ). Tento litomyšlský je pěkný a není se co divit, když je autorem řešení tak věhlasný architekt G. B. Alliprandi. What would a Central European city be like if it did not have a votive pillar of various initiations on its square, but most often to the Virgin Mary. I don't like the Plague Column label because it wasn't always a thank you for surviving a disability (but often). This Litomyšl is nice and it is not surprising that the author of the solution is such a famous architect G. B. Alliprandi.
