★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy place, but I was surprised about few dead flies on tables and chairs. Otherwise food (fried cheese) was good, beer also. Bonus points goes to waiters who were taking care of us nicely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, beautiful restaurant and nice staff although let down by one waitress was in hot pants and kept pulling at them so that was off putting in a hygiene way no one wants their food served by anyone who's been pulling their hotpants/very short and very tight shorts out their bum and between their legs in the middle of the restaurant tables right next to you. Luckily she didn't serve us thankfully. Hot pants are not appropriate for restaurant staff. Would be more stars if the waitresses were dressed appropriately instead of one pulling at her knickers every couple of minutes.

But quite pricey considering the originality and quality of the food. The waitress was nice, but had a cigatette and small beer at the entrance after serving us a food.. ?! Not very professional. Also you can hear all the noise from the kitchen while eating..
They have just one old child chair

Which seems to be something rare around Hrensko. Before we found Maja we went to a lot of restaurants, and all of them closed early didn’t speak any English and were very unpleasant (not to say rude).
In Maja the food is very good and the place is cozy and friendly.
Staff speaks some English (which make it an oasis in this village).
Recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved that place during our stay in Hrensko! Our dog was very welcomed, staff was very friendly and helpful - nice atmosphere there is definitely because of them and their good job. Food tastes like homemade - big portions and fresh. Great that they are opened also outside of season.
