B	BORY zdražil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am the neighborhood of this butcher which I went and bought some meat often because the quality was slightly better than any supermarket in Praha ( I thought ) Once This one is not cheap at all but I could pay happily because there was nowhere to buy fresh and high quality than here ( again I thoughtcrimes) But recently I felt very sad when I faced the shopkeepers’ behavior. First, They were very rude and aggressive. For example : in front of the customer, they threw the something here and there. Why, Unnecessary!) Last, the every shop keeper don’t wear the hygiene gloves to grip and cut the meat. What a disgusting!! I am really wondering there is any owner who care of it or not? Děkujeme.

A	Avi Howard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go if you don't speak Czech! Staff are usually VERY rude to customers approaching them in any other language other than Czech. We shop there regularly as the products are great but they have always been rude. Usually answered with a very loud "NE!" when politely ask if they speak English and even when we try to use the bit of Czech we know. The main guy just shouts at you "CESKY!". So rude. Yes, MEATPOINT - are an upmarket butcher in an upmarket neighbourhood with lots of expats who are your loyal customers. Try to be a bit more understanding and a lot less rude!!

For the higher price they ask, I would expect much better service - not being rude to customers should be the total minimum! The only plus is the longer opening hours compared to meat shops nearby - otherwise no reason to go here.

I speak Czech, however, as it is not my first language you can hear an accent and sometimes I tend to use a word or two different than a local. This seems to bother the staff IMMENSELY. I have been to Meatpoint a couple of times, however, since their products are very quality, I have tried to be patient. Today I have had enough. It was a day where the entire staff was in some way or another unpleasant. What takes the cake is the black haired pony tailed lady indirectly calling me a cow to her colleague. What set her off? Because I said "I would kindly like 15 pieces" instead of "15 SLICES" of salami. Which seemed to be the problem last time with the older white haired "gentleman" with the earring. They often also pretend not to hear you when they hear that you're not a native speaker making you more nervous. I have heard my Czech friends also say the staff was rude to EVEN CZECH people - a case where a customer left and they immediately started trash talking her on the entire establishment.
