The bronze statue "Homage to the Klášterec´ Brokoff family", which is the work of local sculptor Karel Meloun, was created in 2006. It can be found in the upper part of Dr. Eduard Beneš´ square, roughly in the place of the old abandoned fountain. It refers to the tradition of Jan Brokoff's sculpture workshop - inspired by the allegory of Europe and depicting the knight in full armor. The other half of the statue refers to the present and holds the shield with his hand. It states that Jan Brokoff lived here and worked in the service of Michael Oswald Thun between 1685 - 1687. Also his son Jan Josef Michal Brokoff was born in Klášterec on 28 April 1686 and the second son Ferdinand Maxmilián Brokoff was baptized at the nearby Červený Hrádek on 12 September 1688.
