Juste prévoir 20 Couronnes Tchèques car ils n'acceptent ni les € ni les cartes bancaires. Very interesting museum with very beautiful pieces. Do not hesitate to go there if you are in Tachov. And the welcome is very warm. Just provide 20 Czech Crowns because they do not accept euros or bank cards.
J	Jard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chystal jsem se navštívit toto muzeum už asi 30 let, ale strefil jsem se zrovna do rekonstrukce celého přízemí a z doby husitů jsem neviděl vůbec nic. Ani nevím, jestli tam ještě něco na toto téma bude po rekonstrukci k vidění. I was going to visit this museum for about 30 years, but I just hit the reconstruction of the whole ground floor and I didn't see anything from the Hussites. I do not even know if there is anything else on the subject to be seen after reconstruction.

Dekujeme za zprijemneni nedelniho dopoledne :) Very nice circuit with individual exhibitions. A very pleasant and helpful lady at the box office, who is not afraid to talk about the interests both in the museum and in the vicinity of Tachov. Thank you for making Sunday morning more pleasant :)

Mnoho různých atrakcí, od skákacích hradu, lukostřelby, střelba že vzduchovky a vystoupení různých hudebních skupin. Například Písková dáma, folklorní soubor Kolowratek z DD Tachov a další. Krásný den pro děti i dospělé. Občerstvení zajištěno v dostatečném množství. Nice place for organizing events of all kinds. I did not get up in connection with the organization of the Day with us, which is organized by the Tachov Children's Home. Many different attractions, from bouncy castles, archery, shooting to air rifles and performances by various music groups. Nejcennější část muzea představují umělecké díla, historické předměty, samotného kláštera. Další zaměření je národopisné, včetně hezkých exponátů přibližujících život českého lesa. Vhodné pro náročného návštěvníka, tak i pro rodiny s dětmi. The museum is located in the Franciscan monastery. The monastery itself is a building that will definitely interest you. The most valuable part of the museum are works of art, historical objects, the monastery itself. Another focus is ethnographic, including nice exhibits depicting the life of the Czech forest. Suitable for demanding visitors as well as for families with children.
