The exhibitions are usually beautiful, and "exotic".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum was spread across three floors. The first floor dedicated to honouring Czech women in the days before universal suffrage and female emancipation. The second floor was focused on Egyptology and had fine exhibits including a large collection of mummified animals, although the star of this second was probably the two coffins, one of which mummified remains of a man. There was a lot of English for these two exhibitions.
The third floor was on native Australasian artefacts with stunningly good exhibits on some with separate display cases for different pacific islands, although there was little English. Sadly a bit far from the main tourist circuit and it was very quiet on the day I visited.
Overall, it’s worth visiting if you have an interest in archaeology or anthropology. The exhibits are of a high quality and in the main, plenty of English to keep you interested. It was only the Australasian section that had no English.
