★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exhibition about a Czech artist Josef Šíma living at the beginning of 20th century. This artist was a genius. He fought in WWI. He studied painting simultaneously with civil engineering in Prague! Exhibition covers everything including his art and development stages he went through. It is really good, description is always bilingual. You will not miss anything in case you don't speak Czech. It was rather chilly inside, for my taste. Entrance is CZK 220,- . There is also a decent cafeteria serving free fresh water! That was rather nice. Photos attached.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came across this place when walking back from the castle, and strangely there is no mention of it in my guide book.
It is a beautiful little park with water feature and a very peaceful atmosphere even though close to the main road.
It has some very interesting sculptures set in a well thought out design. Well worth visiting and sitting in the sun shine contemplating and just passing the time of day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Buddha exhibition is interesting for someone knowledgable about Buddhism. I would expect better explanations for children. The way it is currently made it is mostly about looking at various artifacts, doesn't teach much. All the video presentations were nice. Origami folding instructions were unclear. The security women were VERY aggressive, repeating several times that it is time to leave (15 minutes before the end of exhibition, we were almost at the exit) even after we told them we are getting there in time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were for vacation in Prague and we decided to visit the Buddha up close exhibition as I am reading a lot about spirituality and the Buddhist philosophy I was curious to visit this with an open mind even in western world.
Unfortunately the personnel ruin our time there!! They were very rude and had a racist behavior!!
As was stated in the adv the exhibition was also in english. There was a video introduction in Czech and I kindly asked if it was going to be in English aswell. The woman almost shouted at me in Czech and went I knot that I don’t understand she call another one more rude than her to tell me strict a No. Then a third man appeared to tell us that they had some technical issues and all the videos were in Czech language.
That was same because there was a lot of explanation about the sculptures and we should be informed before we bought our tickets. The rudeness continued by the woman shouting to us for a second time after a while and we didn’t understand and then they were just following us everywhere.
Is shame that a spiritual and so beautiful energy from the Buddhist art was destroyed by old fashion personnel that had no idea about the Buddhist energy and philosophy.
The Buddha sculpture collection though is quite interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Buddha exhibition is really well done. They have some beautiful artifacts from ca 3rd century to 19th. Nicely lit and laid out to explain the story of the Buddha. Would definitely go back.
