J	Jean Martinez-Le Ninan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely organized museum of Kafka's life and work. The dark and oppressing Kafkaesque ambiance is perfectly transcribed. However, most of the explanation writings printed on glass displays are hard to read due to the white font on white background. One spotlight was missing near the end wich made the wall text sadly unreadable.

The museum concerns the writer so there’s a lot of materials and quotes to read in three languages basically - Czech, German and English. So if someone doesn’t speak one of this languages efficiently, the museum can be a bit disappointing…However it’s an unforgettable experience for Kafka fans! As an addition - in front of museum entrance - another controversial sculpture by the ubiquitous David Černy.

Franz Kafka was born in Prague on 3 July 1883, died in a sanatorium in Kierling on 3 June 1924, and was buried in the New Jewish Cemetery in Prague This long-term exhibition takes us into the world of Franz Kafka (1883-1924), born in Prague and one of the greatest figures of 20th century world literature. The exhibition presents: most of the first editions of Kafka’s works letters, diaries, manuscripts, photographs and drawings never before displayed in Prague 3-D installations audiovisual pieces and a soundtrack specially created for the exhibition

It depicts Kafka’s life in a quite detailed way, that visitors can understand more about Kafka in terms of his personal relationship with Hermann, his lovers and work life. Although I’m not quite sure what the peeing statue has to do with the museum
E	Emily Spotts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a little expensive for now small the museum is but they do have an incredible amount of Kafka works, letters, and diaries. All the placards are available in English. If you have any interest in Kafka's works/life this is definitely a good visit.

No other writer has entered the vernacular in the current age like kafka. The term kafkaesque accurately describes the themes in kafka’s own life. The museum it self resembles an existential nightmare. This is a must see if you in Prague and enjoy Kafka’s work.
