Full panoramic view of all main landmark's of Prague, and an alternative way to get to the castle, a bit more unknown than the usual ones

The Fürstenberg Garden is a place I never noticed before, The entrance is next to the Polish Embassy and the Garden actually sits above of the Embassy and it's worth your time. Also if you are going down from Praha castle, the entrance is along the stairs leaving the Castle!

Fürstenberg Garden is situated under Hradčany - Prague Castle and St. Vitus gothic cathedral. If you want to surprise your loved one (ones) while visiting beautiful Prague, this is the way to get to the castle avoiding crowds. The entrance is from a street nearby Malostranská Metro Station. It costs CZK 50,- to use this path to get the castle. It is worth it. Views are beautiful, there are benches to sit on and a cafeteria on top. Then you look at the masses behind the wall and realise how clever you were using this alternative way:-)

Don't be fool by them. They make it look as if you need to pay 5 euros to see the castle. When you are tourist you easily believe it. Castle is free, Don't pay for this ugly dried "garden"

We entered by chance and we were glad that we found it. It’s free for children and only 2 eur for adults and we avoided the crowd and enjoyed pleasant sun on the way to Hradčany. It’s romantic walk through vineyard and roses garden up the stairs on southern side of the hill instead of street walk in the shadow. I would advise it in autumn. Nice views all the way. Very nice cafeteria at the end.

Beautiful walk to go up to the castle but it’s a shame to pay 50Kr and not be able to see any trees because they’re all dry. There’s a nice view of Prague and at the top there is a cafe with some outdoor seats where we had a nice beer (which was cheap)!
