Kvalitní dopravní spojení přitahovalo podnikatele i výletníky, proto se zde začaly pronajímat letní byty. V roce 1869 byl v obci otevřen poštovní úřad (číslo popisné 4). Po roce 2010 po trati 174 projíždělo v pracovních dnech 12 párů a o víkendu 10 párů osobních vlaků.
The railway line Beroun - Rakovník started to operate on 30th of April 1876. At the same time a new road was built to Beroun. High-quality transport links attracted businessmen as well as tourists, so summer apartments were rented here frequently. In 1869 a post office was opened in the village (descriptive number 4). There were 12 couples of passenger trains on weekdays and 10 pairs at weekends on track 174 after 2010.
