Návrh pomníku vojínů Dolních Počernic padlých v 1. světové válce je dílem architekta a historika architektury Antonína Cechnera. Působivý pomník, vytvořený z hořického pískovce, realizovali žáci sochařské školy v Hořicích. Žulové stupně dodala firma J. Gabriel z Prahy 7, kovové prvky a věčný oheň firma Rudolf Schorcht z Prahy 2. Slavnostní odhalení proběhlo 26. července 1925. The design of the memorial to the soldiers of Dolní Počernice killed in World War I is the work of the architect and historian of architecture, Antonín Cechner. An impressive monument, made of Hořice sandstone, was realized by pupils of the sculpture school in Hořice. Granite stages were supplied by J. Gabriel from Prague 7, metal elements and eternal fire by Rudolf Schorcht from Prague 2. The ceremonial unveiling took place on 26 July 1925.
