Beautiful, well-kept place mainly for relaxation

A truly beautifully landscaped park with a number of interesting larger and smaller buildings was created on the site where weddings would be photographed and spa guests would relax, but the history of the place is much older. In the Middle Ages, there was an execution site behind the bridge. On August 4, 1496, ten leaders of the great uprising of the Kutná Hora miners took place here. When a strong spring of red-colored iron water sprouted near the site in the 17th century, people believed that it was miraculous water that symbolized the blood of executed miners.
