Její historie započala v roce 1347. Pojmenovaná je po majiteli Janu Plataisovi z Plattenštejna. V roce 1847 byly budovy propojeny kolem vnitřního dvora. Dnes se zde bydlí, nakupuje, hoduje v restauracích a kavárnách nebo jen prochází.
Very distinctive arcade in the center of Prague, created by the oldest urban-type palace in Prague - a tenement house with a courtyard and a passageway connecting the Coal Market and Národní třída. Its history began in 1347. It is named after the owner Jan Platais of Plattenstein. In 1847 the buildings were connected around the inner courtyard. Today he lives here, makes purchases, feasts in restaurants and cafes or just walks.

It is always nice to stumble upon some unusual sculpture or other artwork in the central part of the city. Especially where you don't expect it.
