The tour at the Baroque Pharmacy At the White Unicorn does not deserve a 2-star rating, even with the ears worn off. Architecturally, internally and historically, this is a unique exhibition that is worth a visit. However, the interpretation of the guides was one "big JUST" (with permission, I borrowed his words from the guide). If you feel that in a period of large growth of infected delta variant, it is normal to fill a space of about 9x7 m (1 room) with up to 40 visitors and lead a tour without any overlapping shape, so squat, go there! I believe that if the above-mentioned problem does not interfere with you, you will have a lot of fun and you will definitely glorify the guide for his over-influenced, agitating expression of a thoughtful worldview. You will learn GREAT NOTHING about pharmacy and pharmacy. On the contrary, you will know EVERYTHING about (un) substantiated studies of the intestinal microbiome, about physical and mental suffering in the post-Pentecost era, about the capitalist (un) successes of Coca-Cola, Kofola and KFC, or about “three cropped hairs of the poor - Chinese”.

If you are attracted by interesting tours, do not miss a tour of this baroque pharmacy. You will learn a lot of interesting things here and you will see a lot of exhibits that you will not see anywhere else. The space itself is really worth it.

The continuous operation of the pharmacy is documented from 1766 until 1966, after which the interior was adapted as a pharmacy museum and became an exposition of the District Museum. In the Middle Ages, it was considered the horn of a unicorn - hence the name of a pharmacy - and was used in the manufacture of ointments and powders. The Baroque pharmacy U Bílého jednorožce is indeed a historic building in the city center, right on Peace Square. It is not only a historic pharmacy but also a museum. Unfortunately, thanks to the speed of the unnamed restaurant in its vicinity, I did not manage to tour it.

Baroque pharmacy beautiful. Disaster guide. Could he get some text about the history of the pharmacy and the production processes and then stick to it? And please don't let him speak 'English'. What he is showing is perhaps not even funny, just embarrassing. Thank you.

The Baroque pharmacy was very surprising. An unforgettable experience, which we experienced only in 2 rooms. An amazingly engaging explanation that lasted 80 minutes, but during that time it was decided what to look for. I was very interested in live medical leeches. If you visit Klatovy, this inconspicuous place on Klatovy Square is definitely worth a visit.

The pharmacy is beautiful. But the guides spoiled the whole impression. After the young lady in the first part spat out all the professional names she knew after an hour, we got to the second part, the explanation a bit better, but he reluctantly and annoyedly walled up all the questions of the guide. Everyone would have it up to their neck for the whole day of tours, but for the money they charge, I would expect at least some effort :) I WILL NOT TAKE PHOTOS!

The pharmacy is really beautiful both inside and out. The tour for an adult costs CZK 80 and lasts approximately an hour. I am sorry that unfortunately there is only a few pieces of information about the history of the pharmacy and the pharmacy itself. Other information is rather a personal opinion guide to current drugs and the state of society. And although I agree with the vast majority, I don't think this belongs in the tour. Nevertheless, the place is definitely worth a visit.
