Někdy okolo roku 1740 byla kašna takříkajíc uvedena do provozu. Po nějakých 40 letech byl klášter zrušen a kromě jiných památek na to doplatil bůh Saturn i starozákonní postavy Samson a Gideon z výzdoby kašny. A to tak, že se nezachovala kresba či plán. Ba ani fotografie tenkrát nebyly (vtip). Takže i přes snahu kašnu zrekonstruovat se nezadařilo, zůstala jen vana. A tak už to nejspíše zůstane. Škoda.
