Stál jsem před hroby a skřínkou s lebkami Václava II. (syna Přemysla Otakara II.) a jeho dcery, české královny Elišky Přemyslovny. Ten pocit vám nejsem schopen dostatečně popsat, ale budu si ho pamatovat do konce života. Kostel sv. Jakuba byl vystavěn mezi lety 1650 - 1654, a nahradil trojlodní gotický chrám Panny Marie, zničený za husitských bouří po roce 1420. V neděli 23. června 1991 byly uloženy v nově zbudované hrobce v jeho presbyteriu ostatky posledních Přemyslovců - už zmíněné lebky krále Václav II. a Elišky Přemyslovny, lebka a kostra neznámého Přemyslovce, lebka a kostra sestry Karla IV. Alžběty (dcery Jana Lucemburského a Elišky Přemyslovny) a neidentifikovatelné části koster několika jedinců. Pozůstatky byly uloženy do olověných schránek. This was one of the highlights of my three-year tour of the Přemyslid castles, fortified settlements, and the localities associated with them. I stood in front of the graves and the box with the skulls of Wenceslas II. (son of Přemysl Otakar II) and his daughter, Czech queen Eliška Přemyslovna. Fortunately, the church above the royal graves is open to worship. Do not hesitate, it is an important national place and there are interesting artifacts.

But: the church ambience was totally ruined for us by a guardian lady who was always suspiciously watching us from 1m distance whatever we did. And we read info sheets and looked at the distant decorations. Beware.
