Once again, the place where the past and the unearthly something breathes on you. If it is enhanced by the evening atmosphere, it is magic. One also understands the humility you stand before the building that is the symbol of faith.

Absolutní nádhera a jedinečná atmosféra celého místa.
Absolute splendor and unique atmosphere of the whole place. In addition, the friendly pastor let us play the organ, which was one of the most amazing musical experiences of my life. A well-played composition with a religious theme in combination with a beautiful interior looked really magical.

Nádherný barokní kostel sv. Václava je svojí polohou a krásou dominantou Srbské Kamenice. Pochází z roku 1772 a je krásně zrekonstruován. Spolu s farou vytváří kouzelné místo, pod nímž je starý hřbitov.
Beautiful baroque church of St. Due to its location and beauty, Václav is the dominant feature of Srbská Kamenice. It dates from 1772 and is beautifully renovated. Together with the rectory, it creates a magical place, under which is an old cemetery.

A beautiful and fairytale church, you just can't see it anymore, very nice people, the one who didn't visit as if he wasn't even here

One of the most beautiful and impressive churches I've visited this year. The miracle was just that it was accessible at the time I walked through the village. The pastor had just cleared the church, but he let me in. The interior is dominated by the magnificent Rococo altar, which was moved here from the Prague Church of St. Salvator in the Old Town. It is one of the largest in Děčín region and is richly decorated with figural sculptures. Srbská Kamenice is a very old parish, the first mention of the church in here is contained in a list of Czech parishes from 1352. Wooden church was standing here at the pre-Hussite time, apparently on the cemetery grounds, the time of origin or the original appearance are not known. The present single-nave temple with a wooden tower was built between 1772 and 1776 by the builder V. Sauer. The foundation stone of the new church was laid above the cemetery on July 15, 1772, the first mass was held on St. Wenceslaus Day on 28 September 1776, the ceremonial initiation took place on 20 October of the same year. In 1864, today's parish office was built, ten years later, the present cemetery wall was built. The church gradually deteriorated after the displacement of German inhabitants. In 1993 a huge rebuilding took place.
