One of the most beautiful and impressive churches I have visited this year. The only miracle was that it was accessible while I was walking through the village. The pastor was cleaning the interior, but he willingly let me in. The interior is dominated by a beautiful Rococo altar, which was moved here from the Prague Church of St. Salvator in the Old Town. It is one of the largest in the Děčín region and is richly decorated with figural sculptures. Srbská Kamenice is a very old parish, the first mention of the church in this village is a list of Czech parishes from 1352. The wooden church stood here in pre-Hussite times, probably on the land of the cemetery, the time of origin and the original appearance are unknown. The current single-nave church with a wooden tower was built between 1772 and 1776 by the builder V. Sauer. The foundation stone of the new church was laid above the cemetery on 15 July 1772, the first Mass was held here on St. Wenceslas Day on 28 September 1776, and the solemn dedication took place on 20 October of the same year. In 1864, the present parish was built, and ten years later the current fence wall of the cemetery was built. After the displacement of the German inhabitants, the church was gradually abandoned.
