Found this place by accident, we were intrigued by the prices, which are much lower than you can expect in that part of Prague. Decided to go in and did not regret! Tasty dinner for two for smth around 14 euros, including drinks. The only thing I would point out is that the creamy cheese with the bread, served when you come, will be included to your check if you eat it. But it is very taste, so I do recommend eating it :)

Very bad food, the Knuckle is not clean and had a strange smell, the ribs are to dry. They still charge 10% of service tip and won’t accept credit card. The whole experience is terrible

Good place to have dinner with tasty food and friendly staff. There is no mobile network, so you can focus on spending time with your friends or family :). The price is reasonable.

Didn't wait for very long, the food was delicious and very light especially for Czech dishes. Quite lovely place, perfect for the summer/spring.

Very authentic Czech-feeling subterranean dining room with typical Bohemian coziness. Great beer, cheese plate, and pork knuckle, and EXCELLENT mashed potatoes. Like the best we've ever had! Service was very good. They don't add tip, they just tell you what the bill would be with and without a 10% service charge. It is written in Czech of course, so this is why people don't understand that it's entirely optional (me included! haha) Enjoyable last dinner in Praha.

I'm glad I put aside my slight hesitation at the lack of patrons as I walked down the wide alley into this eatery with its quiet, colourfully-cushioned courtyard to find a real home-made establishment with food made and served with heart. The host was one of those people who love the business. We began looking at the drinks for a beer, but the man simply asked: "dark or light?". We were served a very satisfying dark, and then ordered the beef stew with bacon, potato and bread dumplings, and sauerkraut soup with smoked sausage and cream. I was happy to read that the food could come with a half-hour wait - because it was all prepared fresh. We were advised to prioritise the dumplings with the stew before they cooled - the kind of advice your grandma might give - and similarly home-made presentation and flavour! This was good, local cooking at its best, and I was happy to top of off with white mulled wine with cinnamon and lemon for the princely sum of £2. Great lunch.
