Ballamský dům byl postaven Bedřichem ze Salhausenu ve 40. letech 16. století souběžně s Dolním zámkem a hospodářskou budovou. Dříve se mu říkalo Starschedelovský zámeček. Na místě tohoto objektu původně stála kamenická dílna, po roce 1583 přestavěna na dům Marie ze Starschedelu a jejího manžela Humbolda. Po roce 1620 tvořil součást pivovaru. Na konci 18. století byl přestavěn do současné podoby. Jednopatrový obdélný dům má sklenuté sklepy valenou klenbou s pásy. Dnes v něm sídlí správa celého zámeckého areálu. The Ballam House was built by Bedrich of Salhausen in the 40s of the 16th century, parallel to the Lower Chateau and the Economic Building. Formerly it was called the Starshedel Chateau. A workshop originally stood on the site of this building, after 1583 it was rebuilt to the house of Marie of Starschedel and her husband Humbold. After 1620 it was part of the brewery. At the end of the 18th century it was rebuilt into it´s present form. The one-storey rectangular house has vaulted cellars. Today it houses the administration of the entire chateau complex.
