★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ruins, very easy to reach, Just park your car in front of the town church and climb 2 minutes to the top of he hill behind the church.
The tower is opened, free of charge, you can climb on top and se a wonderful view.
REALLY WORTH A TRIP!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a pitstop nearby because we were amazed by the beautiful view upon this castle. This place makes you wonder about the entire history behind it and everything that happened there.
It's by far the most beautiful ruin I've seen so far!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice example of medieval "last refuge" defense point (similar to Sloup or Drabske Svetnicky). In principle, very similar purpose as Irish round towers or Church Sanctuarium. People used such outposts as the last defense point when all other defence methods failed. Typically equipped with emergency supplies, it provided refuge to the people in need in wartime.
