Like a pretty building. However, it is a building serving the church to increase popularity. And we all know that churches are destroying people's lives and feeding on them for thousands of years ....

Originally a Romanesque church from the 12th century, it is a single-nave building with a polygonal Gothic presbytery with a ribbed vault. In the 14th century, it was rebuilt from the Romanesque style to the Gothic style. At that time, it used to be a parish church. In the 19th century, the original Romanesque tower was destroyed by lightning, so in 1876-1880 it was replaced by a new tower in the pseudo-Romanesque style. The wall paintings were allegedly created by the painter Koucký. The altarpiece of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was painted in 1861 by Rudolf Josef Müller. There used to be a cemetery around the church. After its abolition in the second half of the 19th century, a new Záběhlice cemetery was established approximately 800 meters northeast of the church (it is now located in the middle of a panel building).
