Very helpful staff.

We would like to thank the staff of the Ghanaian Embassy in Prague for their prompt service and understanding. We had complications with the requirements to enter Ghana. When their consul in Slovakia learned that we wanted to visit more countries (as tourists), he demanded that we show the visas of other African countries we wanted to visit before applying for Ghanaian visas. Which was impossible at the time, because we wanted to get some visas only in Africa, as their embassies are not nearby and, at the time of the pandemic, they also have limited services. Nevertheless, we did our best to obtain visas to other countries and we succeeded, but we had very little time to apply for visas to Ghana. Therefore, I very much appreciate that the staff of the embassy in Prague had an understanding and tourist visas were granted to us in a relatively short time, for which we really thank them very much! We could even arrange visas by post, but for a short time we preferred to travel to Prague to take over visas. The embassy staff communicated with us excellently, quickly and their requirements were clear and normal. I recommend visiting Ghana. Especially their waterfalls and nature. However, before the trip, also complete all COVID-19 formalities - print out a travel certificate in particular. The airport test fee upon arrival (you pay in advance when issuing the travel certificate and you will receive a barcode to confirm and take with you) is up to 150 USD! This is an antigen test. If you have it negative, you will be released from the airport;)
