Tahle plastika vzešla z veřejné soutěže, jejíž některé další návrhy jsem měl tu čest vidět s chvála bohu, že vyhrálo tohle, protože ty ostatní věci mi přišly dost tragické... Vějíř je vyroben z ušlechtilé rezavějící litiny, stejně jako třeba obložení domu Ocelot v Pražských Vysočanech. Pokud je ocel opravdu kvalitní, tak rez vlastně utvoří povrchovou úpravu, která dále koroduje jen velmi zvolna. Doufám, že je vějíř proveden kvalitně a toto zajímavé dílo zde vydrží co nejdéle, nikdo ho nezničí a nebo neukradne! Rozhodně protestuji proti tomu, že je to "blbost" jak tady někdo jiný píše. Dílo má přesah a je mnohoznačné, což se mi na něm líbí. A fakt, že funguje i jako "chlazení" v horkých dnech je příjemný přesah díla, který by se od "obyčejné sochy" dal stěží očekávat. A very interesting idea how to make "Věra Žofie Chotková" also quite a useful thing. This sculpture came from a public competition, some other designs of which I had the honor to see with praise to God that this won, because the other things seemed quite tragic to me ... The fan is made of noble rusting cast iron, as well as the cladding of the Ocelot house in Prague Vysočany. If the steel is really high quality, then the rust will actually form a surface finish, which further corrodes only very slowly. I hope that the fan is made of quality and this interesting work will last here as long as possible, no one will destroy it or steal it! I definitely protest that it's "bullshit" as someone else writes here. The work has an overlap and is ambiguous, which I like about it. And the fact that it also works as a "cooling" on hot days is a pleasant overlap of the work, which could hardly be expected from an "ordinary sculpture".
D	Daniela Dorocáková on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Skvělý nápad. “Náměstíčko” teď působí velmi upraveně, lavičky kolem jsou příjemným místem pro odpočinek a fontána…ta je jednak hezkým estetickým prvkem a zároveň skvělým osvěžovadlem v horkých dnech…jemná vodní mlha je velmi příjemná pro lidi i pro zvířátka ☺️ Great idea. "Náměstíčko" now looks very tidy, the benches around are a pleasant place to relax and the fountain… it is both a nice aesthetic element and at the same time a great refresher on hot days… fine water mist is very pleasant for people and animals ☺️

Na místě jsou lavičky, kde si lze v klidu posedět. An original form of combining a work of art with the useful function of a fountain, everything is also sensitively incorporated into the beautiful space in front of the Písek Gate (where there is a cafe inside), and the adjacent park with a playground. There are benches on site where you can sit in peace.

I appreciated the English translation of Sophie's background on the nearby board and the fan itself was a pleasant representation. There were other boards a little further away down towards the cafe however they were not translated into English sadly.
