You can visit this Jewish cemetery. A quiet place not crowded. It is not as crowded as the old cemetery in the Jewish quarter. In addition to the tomb of Kafka, there are other tombs that, without being of such well-known characters, have more architectural value.

The new Jewish cemetery, which is open to it´s guests all year round, has been in operation since 1890. It has even become the only cemetery in Prague, where funerals of the late Jewish faith are held until today. The most sought-after places include the grave of writer Franz Kafka and his parents. You can find it by the south cemetery wall - immediately after walking through the main gate, go about 300 meters to the right.

The way to the grave is signposted and not very far from the main entrance.
In contrast to most other graves, there are (artificial) flowers and other objects left there that go beyond the usual stones in Jewish cemeteries.
But anyone expecting a pompous grave of a famous artist will be disappointed because it does not stand out from the crowd.

The tomb is easy to find, once inside you must follow the signs that bring you there and you can leave them a memory in Kafka, always with due respect.

The tomb is easy to find and is signposted right at the entrance. Ansich it is not particularly highlighted or special. However, visiting his grave is somehow still a visit to Prague, if you are a little familiar with his writings. A little more historical to him and his life, his family would be nice. Simply a kind of information board.

I was very moved to stand in front of his grave - definitely worth a visit, as well as the rest of the cemetery ??? The grave is signposted. It's very quiet there, not like the old Jewish cemetery. Oddly enough, there is no entry fee ...
