★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for all your electronics needs - from parts to tools, as well as home electrical supplies. Obviously not as well-stocked as the giants like e. g. Farnell, but commonly used components are always available, and cheaper than you know where... Staff knows their stuff, too, and gladly provide answers/advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here and wanted some help from the staff. I don't know much about electronics, so I thought the staff will help me and offer me something. I was wrong. When I didn't tell them exactly what I wanted, the staff started being really impolite and started shouting at me.
I'm not coming here again. This really wasn't worth the long queue.
To be fair, I added 1 star for big selection of products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attempted to buy a HDMI - DVI connector. After waiting about five minutes for the guy to finish his conversation, I explained what it was in czech. The guy didn't want to help because I didn't have an order number. After some time I showed him a picture of the item and because it was on Alza's website he shrugged his shoulders and said "jed do Alzy" as he was walking away.
In the last six months I have spent approximately 3 000 crowns in this store as I work nearby. I'll now be getting my supplies from Alza as the man suggested.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience with this shop. I speak very little Czech and apologetically asked if there was anyone who spoke English, to which he replied in Czech with an attitude: "No, we only speak Czech", If it is the case then this shop is loosing a lot of business. I was very disappointed at the lack of service and lack of even an attempt to be helpful in any way. I don't know how well stocked the shop is as I walked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly I have to amend my review. The staff may be really mean.
One time a man at the counter was not happy with the accent I was speaking with, and did not hesitate to tell me that.
Another time was worse. Something went wrong with the order I made, so a guy called me and told that he's cancelling it because my name was incomplete. I asked him to just correct the order, he refused.
He was talking really fast and I was not understanding all of it, so I asked (as polite as I could) if he speaks English. "This is Czech Republic" answered he in Czech and hanged up on me. What kind of customer service is that?!
What they sell could be easily found in the well-known online alternatives for a lesser price. Also, noone will be rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I have finally hopefully bought last thing I needed there and never gonna come back. If you don't speak in their "expert" terms, they try to make you look stupid, possibly because they are super unhappy that they ended up working there or something. That however does not advocate for them being rude, unhelpful and ungrateful. They usually roll their eyes when you don't know the exact serial number of the stuff you wanna buy.
I have also bought a faulty IC (NE555) from them, which in regards of how many tests are run before an IC actually gets to the store is quite weird, and based on my experience there, I tend to believe they did that intentionally, or at least wouldn't surprise me..
It would be really nice if there was another electronics shop nearby, those fellas would be out of business in no time..
