I would like to recommend the restaurant of this hotel. High quality food and excellent service. Take a table on the footbridge to enjoy one of the best views of Karlovy Vary. Try the rabbit or ravioli while sipping the Czech wine. A place to be!

I've visited KV lots of times in the past few years and Hotel Embassy has been my favorite. From reception to dining to first class rooms this is a WONDERFUL accommodation - I highly recommend staying here, its location is right on the main promenade and within walking distance to Spring #1. The rooms are fantastic with wonderful vuews and beautiful furnishings. We also ate dinner in their restaurant the dragon room and had the Best DUCK in Europe - so delicious. A nicely stocked mini- fridge and incredible breakfast with homemade omelettes!

This hotel was a great dissapointment for me and my husband. After two nights there, I can say the only "plus" is for the great location, otherwise it would take below two stars. The room is big and when you enter, you have the feeling of luxury and nice furniture. It goes away after a better look, because the furniture is cheap and old, without the proper maintenance and cleaning. The bed was the worst I have ever slept in and honestly, we slept on the sofas in the end because of the poor quality of the mattresses and also of the undermattresses system (Ikea type, but the cheapest I guess). The bathroom is ok. Not top clean, but ok. For the breakfast, I do not find normal to serve scrumbled eggs only mixed with onion, because onion is something that can cause problems to someone with a sensitive stomach. Another thing: at 23.30 the hotel closes its main entrance so, if you want to stay late, I do not know which is the option to still go in. One after another, it is very poor value for money, with an awful sleep and an under mid-level food served. In my oppinion, it doesn't justify the high price per night, even it is well placed.

Very nice place with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious and they offered free glass of champagne as a nice start of Easter Saturday. The restaurant is also good but you must have a reservation there.

A lovely weekend in a deluxe room. A view of the river and luxury shops. Two really nice dinners at their restaurant. It's premium, yet affordable. We more than liked it here and enjoyed the friendly and helpful service (which is fluent in Czech, German, English, and Russian).

We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. Although it was quiet inside, the waiter didn't have much time for the quests. We had to contact the waiter about empty drinks, the menu and the dessert. At the end we waited a full hour for our dessert. We felt obliged to give a tip, because the waiter really pushed for it. When not giving 10 percent this was still entered in the card machine. He was not happy to change it. The food that was served was nice (the steak and a salad) but we will not go to this restaurant again.

Very nice weekend stay. Very friendly staff. Excellent location, superb breakfast. We booked suite and it was absolutely huge, very comfy and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was very nice as well with shower and bath tub

Lovely hotel from the 90s with beautiful furniture and fittings. Our bathroom was pink! The reception man was extremely helpful and pleasant through email and all correspondes, and the breakfast ladies are extraordinarily kind and helpful. Wonderful spread of breakfast foods including cookies and pastries I haven't seen outside of the Czech republic. It did feel a little 1990s in terms of decor but that's the only critique. Please do visit their masseuse, Marta for at least an hour she's heavenly.
