M	Maria Buchenko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Above and beyond 5* service! Get this: I am vegan ?, so sometimes it’s hard to find a wholesome meal in a decent place with nice atmosphere while traveling. I’ve the Grandhotel Pupp Restaurant in Karlivy Vary today and kindly asked if they could make spaghetti with mushrooms and tomato sauce for me (since there wasn’t a single vegan option on the menu). The waiter listened to me patiently, and received it with nothing but warmth, kindness and respect. He told me, he’ll check with the kitchen, but thinks it’s no problem at all. We got our pasta, alright! It was delicious (duh!). To our surprise, it wasn’t overcharged - paid 180 CZK/portion (for comparison: the same pasta in a Pizzeria down the street was 290 CZK ?) Also Vladimir Jandl is the most open and friendly stuff manager, who showed us around the hotel, including halls that were locked. We got a mini private tour, if you will, to check out a place for a potential venue. We loved it! Thank you Vladimir! I would strongly insist to add at least one wholesome vegan meal to the menu by the time I come back please, otherwise I will always be asking for that spaghetti ??

The whole hotel is amazing already by its architecture and you will feel like someone special being here. Breakfast is very high standard and the breakfast room is breath taking. We took better standard of the room - was comfortable, clean, checked twice a day. I was so happy to see Czech cosmetics in a bathroom from Manufaktura. Spa is spacious. Finish sauna is really hot as it should be :). We also went for CBD ritual and only can recommend. Very good masseur’s. All staff is smiling, always helps and speaks three languages as standard. This hotel is must visit for sure!

Wes Anderson was clearly focused on the front property when using this hotel as part of the inspiration for his Grand Hotel Budapest movie.
v	violin yanev on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I regret that I can barely say anything positive about Grandhotel Pupp other than it looks nice from the outside. When we arrived the front desk said they will guide us to our room, and the "guide" dusted off to the parking lot and forgot about us. The SPA was a disappointment - small, and the water was cold, at least 5-6C lower than indicated. Heating in our room did not work. After a friendly request to investigate the issue, we found a small Dyson heater back in our room - without even an apology. We could not experience any of the "facilities" because they are apparently used for advertisement only, but overbooked by external guests. Next time we visit, we will certainly book another hotel.

Well I wasn't disappointed what an amazing trip the hotel is just fabulous the attention to detail is incredible. Beautiful room facing the forest, spotlessly clean. Great spa although it's quite small for the size of the hotel, had a treatment which was amazing. Fantastic breakfast with something for everyone you won't go hungry. The staff are very professional, courtesy and helpful. Would recommend everyone to visit at least once
