★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平然とした顔でぼったくりレートを伝えてくるので “No way, can you make it more” と言ってやりましょう。次に言ってくるレートもぼったくりですので3回か4回はこのやりとりをすれば結構良いレートにしてくれました。
このやりとりはこの国では普通ですので、しつこく交渉しなければ損をするだけです。10,000円の両替で700円ぐらい損するのが相場でしょう。
Say “No way, can you make it more” as it will tell you the rip-off rate with a plain face. The rate that I will say next is also rip-off, so if I exchanged this 3 or 4 times, it made a pretty good rate.
This exchange is common in this country, so if you don't negotiate persistently, you'll only lose. The market price is about 700 yen when you exchange 10,000 yen.
