Liběchov sobě – Spolek pro záchranu kostelíčka vznikl jako sdružení přátel kaple sv. Ducha a Božího Hrobu v Liběchově různého věku i zájmů, spojuje nás jednak vztah ke kostelíčku, jednak k městu Liběchovu a jeho okolí. Nepolitický spolek si klade za cíl především pomoc s péčí o zdejší památky i kulturní a společenský život. V současné době probíhá veřejná sbírka na opravu kostelíčka, k účasti na ní Vás srdečně zveme.

Kostel byl postaven v letech 1738-1741 architektem Františkem Maxmiliánem Kaňkou, který v té době realizoval přestavbu zámku Liběchov pro pány Pachty z Rájova. Ti také nechali postavit i tento kostel. Ke kostelu stoupá dvouramenné schodiště s barokní sochou sv. Antonína Paduánského, která bohužel v současnosti už na soklu chybí. Při severní straně kostela je hrobka Pachtů z Rájova. Jejich erb najdeme v trojúhelném štítě. V 19. a 20. stol. byl kostel upravován. Od 3. května 1958 je kostel chráněn jako kulturní památka České republiky, bohužel i přesto je stejně jako zámek ve značně zchátralém stavbu. The Baroque parish church of St. Havel with an interesting front facade stands on a ridge in the village Liběchov. The church was built in 1738-1741 by the architect František Maxmilián Kaňka, who at that time realized the reconstruction of the chateau Liběchov for the lords of Pachtas from Rájov. They also built this church. The two-aisle staircase leads you to the entrance together with a Baroque statue of St. Antonín Paduánský, which is unfortunately currently missing on the pedestal. At the northern side of the church there is the tomb of Pachts of Rajov. We can find their coat of arms in a triangular shield. In the 19th and 20th century the church was modified. Since 3 May 1958 it has been preserved as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, but unfortunately it is the same like castle in a very dilapidated structure.
