Původně gotický kostel byl barokně přestavěn ve druhé třetině 18. století, dále pak upravený v polovině 19. století. Kolem kostela je hřbitov s několika zajmavými náhrobky a kříži. Vybavení je převážně z 19. století. I výhled do oklí je nádherný, pokud budete míjet Tmaň, nezapomeňte se tu na chvíli zastavit. An important monument of the village of Tmaň is the impressive Catholic church of St. Jiří with the local cemetery, which was repaired in 2001 and 2002. The originally Gothic church was rebuilt in the baroque style in the second third of the 18th century, then restored again in the middle of the 19th century, thankfully it hadn´t lost much from it´s magic. Around the church there is a cemetery with several interesting tombstones. The equipment is predominantly from the 19th century. If you are passing by Tmaň, stop here for a while, you will also enjoy beautiful wide view of surroundings. Byl vystavěn v 18. století a disponuje dvěma hřbitovy ve svém blízkém okolí. V běžné dny je kostel uzavřen ale můžeme otevřenými dveřmi do něj nahlédnout. Je velká škoda, že v blízkosti kostela je křižovatka po které jezdí těžké mnohatunové nákladní soupravy se štěrkem, drtí, kamenem....... Church of st. George near the village of Tmáň is a beautiful and historic landmark of the village and its surrounding landscape. It was built in the 18th century and has two cemeteries in its vicinity. On ordinary days the church is closed but we can look through it through the open door. It is a pity that near the church there is a crossroad on which heavy multi-ton trucks with gravel, crushes, stone .......
