I'm not one of those who regularly go to church, but Christmas time gives me the opportunity to share joy through music. I have been playing here regularly since '86.

The early Gothic church from the 14th century was rebuilt several times. Originally, it was supposed to have three ships, to which a presbytery on the east side would build. Two tall towers were to stand in the western facade. However, this intention was not fully realized. In 1420 the church burnt down and was rebuilt in the late Gothic style. Another form of the church was partially changed by the reconstruction in 1583. During the Thirty Years War it was burnt down again, it was repaired in 1696. At the south side of the church there is a baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk. Next to it is a belfry with a Gothic bell from 1322 hanging. There is a large cemetery to the east of the church. In 1420 the church burnt down and was rebuilt in the late Gothic style. The western part of the church was considerably shortened during this reconstruction. The church was partially reconstructed in 1583. During the Thirty Years' War it was burnt down again, and repaired in 1696. On the south side of the church there is a valuable Baroque statue of St. George. John of Nepomuk. Gothic bell from 1322 hung there. There is a large cemetery to the east of the church.
