The imperial lounge was built in the late 1890s. It is a luxurious waiting room for the successor to the throne František Ferdinand d´Este, who stayed at Konopiště Castle. The space is richly decorated with stucco elements and ornamental tiled stoves, which have been preserved to this day. The station also received its own waterworks and heating plant. For example, the Emperor Franz Joseph I and the German Emperor Wilhelm II stopped here. The Imperial Lounge is accessible by agreement at the railway station.
