The brick prismatic bell tower adjacent to the ruins of the Minorite monastery is beautiful in its simplicity. The original wooden belfry is mentioned in written sources in 1627 and documented in drawing on the city plan from 1680. It stood on the site of the former old provostship. In today's brick form comes from the 1st third of the 19th century. It has a raised ground floor, accessible by an external staircase, the neo-Gothic vaulted windows are embedded on the bell floor. The fragments of stone elements of the ruined monastery are placed inside. In the bell tower there is a bell called "Ave Maria" by Master Rudger from 1322. The lower diameter of the bell is 123 cm, and it bears a Latin inscription with a date. It is the second oldest Czech bell with a date and one of the oldest bells with the name of the bellmaker. When the monastery was destroyed by the Hussites in 1420, the bell disappeared. It was not found until 1799 that it was accidentally dug out of the monastery rubble and placed on a new belfry.

Very nice place. Stumbled upon him by accident. Then he came repeatedly to plunge into the history of the Middle Ages.
