A pretty nice synagogue. It has a lot of historic objects that are just amazingly displayed. It also has a lot of text about the Jewish people of Prague or in general. All of the text and objects are very well put together and there even is a huge touchscreen you can use to look at maps of how the Jewish part of town looked like or to see lots of other interesting things like an analysis of how jews are characterized and drawn by other cultures and much much more. The synagogue may be a bit less impressive in the looks department than the Spanish synagogue or the Jerusalem synagogue but it more than compensates for that with other thing previously mentioned.

Also very good if you are interested in history with some ancient pieces to see. For example an ancient poem can be listened to describing a pogrom in Prague.

We actually stayed in a VRBO across the street, but we loved staying in that part of town. It's away from the busy plaza but close enough to easily walk to it.

Sooner or later, you should book a tour while you are in Prague. There are city tours, architectural tours, history, WWII, food tours and the Jewish Quarters tour. Day and I booked a Jewish Quarters tour through Toursbylocals, which we use all the time and are always happy with. I think a tour is the only way to fully appreciate this and the other five Synagogues in the Jewish Quarters. The Synagogues are beautiful and the history of Prague, the Jewish Quarters and WWII is incredibly interesting. A tour of the Jewish Quarters, the Cemetery and the six Synagogues is a must.
