Nová Ves I - Obec

My family and I visited the Fish & Hunt complex in Nová ves near Kolín and I can highly recommend this place to all those interested in real archery (a part of the complex is also a 3D parkour). It is also possible to experience shooting on a laser simulator. The area also includes a perfectly stocked shop with shooting equipment for archery, crossbow shooting and short and long weapons of renowned brands. The service is very helpful and customer oriented. Part of the area is also a nice restaurant with excellent food (dessert "vanilla ball with pistachios and chocolate" is directly breathtaking ?). The place is therefore very suitable for active time with the whole family, but also as a place suitable for corporate events and team building. Once again, I highly recommend a visit.

The Czech chronicle of Václav Hájek of Libočany states that the predecessor of today's village is the settlement of Serčov, which stood northeast of its current position on the banks of the Elbe. However, the village was often flooded, so the settlers founded a new seat nearby, at the foot of a nearby hill. The oldest mention of Nová Ves comes from 1290, when Hynek of Dubá sold it to the Sedlec Monastery. On June 18, 1757, an important clash between the Prussian and Austrian armies took place in the area between Nová Ves and Křečhoří - the battle of Kolín. Nová Ves used to be a part of the Kolín estate, since 1850 it has been an independent municipality in the Kolín district. Index I distinguishes it from the other two New Villages in the Cologne district. Today, about 1,200 permanent residents live here.
