Rented through Hotwire because the prices were much less then other companies. But after showing up, all said and done, the car cost as much or more then others I could have booked. Last thing, the staff was very rude and unhelpful, I honestly couldn’t believe how bad the experience was dealing with them. At least the car was clean and nice though.

I have rented from them many times and have never had a problem. The cars are nice and clean and the service has always been good. I have never damaged the car and so can't speak to how they would handle that.

Great car, easy check in and out. Insurance was high but worth the peace if mind when in the busy cities.

Had a car hire booked and pre-paid with Nu for two weeks. When I arrived to collect the car after a delayed flight, I was told they had given the car away and had no other vehicles available. I was forced to hire a car with another company last minute for nearly double the price. No hint of an apology from Nu.

1800 USD deposit, beware. Insurance is also as much as the car rental

Pretty terrible attitude and customer service. They didn't note my request for border crossing and then charged me over $200 fee afterwards!

Very great prices. Requested a VW golf and was given a small Skoda suv. The car had all the technologies, Camara, GPS, adaptive cruise control. Was really great. Child seat only cost 6 extra euros Only downside they charge huge deposit and the car was very dirty

I rented a car from Nu Car Rental/RENT from the Vaclav Havel Airport terminal. I had reserved far in advance and arrived in the evening hours. There was only one person staffed and a line assembling. When we got to the front, the associate rushed through instructions, threw paperwork our way to sign, and after asking where all we would travel assured us toll roads were included and of course charged us an extra fee for them. While in Austria we got an astronomical ticket because we didn't have a toll pass on the car. When I returned the car and tried to speak with them once again the line extended forever. We returned to the quick return location and upon arriving home I reached out to Customer Service to resolve my concern regarding the toll fees/fines. After four months of back and forth, they tried to assure me that they never told us tolls were included in our rental. I then identified the line item and fee that had been added on the bill. Then they tried to convince me that their associate only said Czech tolls were covered. Wrong again, but I can't prove anything in the battle of words. But had I known it wasn't covered I could have bought a nominally priced toll tag at the border and saved myself the huge fine. Between extra fees, long lines, and terrible customer service I don't think I would ever rent from them again. The car itself was very nice though and the rate affordable at that time.
