Gotická brána byla postavena ve 13. století, před ní se v úrovni parkánové linie nacházela vnější brána zbořená v letech 1837-61. Brána se dochovala jen v přízemní výšce včetně hrotitých portálů, nebyla zaklenuta a první patro neslo trámový strop. Horní patra byla z neznámých důvodů odstraněna již počátkem 17. století. Vedle brány stálo vězení a dům branného. The Prachatická Gate (also called Lower or Eastern gate) is located on the southeast side of Prácheňská Street. The Gothic gate was built in the 13th century, the outer gate demolished in 1837-61 was located in front of it. The gate was preserved only on the ground level, including spiked portals, it was not vaulted and the first floor carried a beamed ceiling. The upper floors were removed for unknown reasons at the beginning of the 17th century. There was a prison and a gate-guard house next to the gate. Bydlím o vesničku blíže Strakonicím tedy ve Střelských Hošticích a pokud jedu něco koupit tak se mi rozhodně do Horaždovic jezdí rozhodně lépe jak na druhou stranu tedy do Strakonic...moc hezká večerní procházka po tomto městečku. Všude KLID A OPRAVDU POHODA na mně vyzařuje z tohoto městečka.... Horazdovice is a very beautiful town. Very nice renovated square. I live in a village closer to Strakonice in Střelske Hoštice and if I go to buy something so I definitely go to Horazdovice certainly definitely better, on the other side, then to Strakonice ... very nice evening walk around this town. Everywhere KLID AND REPAIR OF POHODA emanates from this town ....
