★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádraží, původně postavené ve třetí čtvrtině 19. století, bylo od 70. let postupně modernizováno. V průběhu posledních čtyř let se po rekonstrukci kolejiště, nástupišť (přibylo čtvrté - sektor "D") a prodloužení podchodu až do nuselské Bartoškovy ulice stalo skutečně moderním a dobře dostupným.
V budoucnu po zprovoznění trasy D metra s nedalekou stanicí Náměstí bratří Synků jeho význam ještě vzroste.
The station, originally built in the third quarter of the 19th century, has been gradually modernized since the 1970s. Over the last four years, after the reconstruction of the track, platforms (adding a fourth - sector "D") and the extension of the underpass to Bartoškova Street in Nusle, it has become truly modern and easily accessible.
In the future, after the commissioning of the D metro line with the nearby Náměstí bratří Synků station, its importance will increase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dated, but clean, well signposted, has convenience store, staffed ticket counters, frequent trains around and beyond Prague.
Currently undergoing complete remodelling, after which more frequent existing services as well as a new line to Smíchov and Eastern suburbs of Prague will be introduced.
